On December 15th, the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association’s 2025 Tourism Economic Analysis Meeting and Tourism Youth Innovation Talent Recognition Ceremony was successfully held at the Tangcheng Hotel in Xi’an.
This conference gathered industry elites to jointly analyze the trend of the tourism economy and commend the innovative strength of young people, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the integration of culture and tourism in Shaanxi. More than 160 people, including Xin Jianwei, President of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association, Li Zhi, Executive Vice President, Wang Xinyu, Vice President and Secretary-General, as well as directors of the provincial tourism association, heads of branches and professional committees, and young innovative talents in tourism, attended the conference. At the Shaanxi Tourism Economic Analysis Meeting, Ren Hong, Vice President of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association and President of the Travel Agency Branch, shared the research findings of the Shaanxi travel agency industry in 2025. Representatives from multiple closely related branches and special committees, including study tours, tour guides, homestays, tourist hotels, intangible cultural heritage, tourism merchandise and equipment, tourism performing arts, and education, took turns to exchange views and speak, providing precise ideas for the upgrading of Shaanxi’s cultural tourism industry chain and innovation in business formats.
At the Shaanxi Tourism Youth Innovation Talent Recognition Ceremony, Li Gang, Vice President of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association and Head of the Expert Panel for the Selection of Shaanxi Tourism Youth Innovation Talents, presided over the ceremony and announced the list of award winners. Wang Xinyu, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association, read out the “Notice of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association on Recognizing Shaanxi Tourism Youth Innovation Talents”. Yu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Xi’an International Travel Service and General Manager of the Inbound Tourism Center, along with 68 other individuals, were awarded the honorary title of “Tourism Youth Innovation Talent”.
The meeting conveyed the “Notice of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of Social Organizations in the Culture and Tourism Industry of the Communist Party of China on Studying, Publicizing, and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China”, explicitly requiring the Party branch of the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Association and the Party groups of each branch to strengthen Party building leadership, promote in-depth and practical study of the spirit of the plenary session, guide industry units to reach a consensus, and transform learning outcomes into specific actions to promote the high-quality development of Shaanxi’s culture and tourism, thereby contributing to the steady improvement of Shaanxi’s culture and tourism industry.
This conference has established an important platform for the tourism industry in Shaanxi to exchange ideas, collaborate, and seek common development. Xi’an International Travel Service will also take this commendation as an opportunity to continue to deepen innovation, empower business upgrades, and contribute to the high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry in the province!
